Stacy Bevill, the Doula
I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others on their unique journeys through life. My interest in birthwork began when my niece, who needed support and guidance, asked for my help during the remarkable experience of her second child's birth. This profound and powerful experience motivated me to delve deeper into the world of childbirth and maternity care. I took it upon myself to research doulas and their roles, ultimately dedicating six months to becoming a trained childbirth doula while volunteering at a local hospital to gain hands-on experience. Now, I proudly hold certifications as both a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator, enabling me to support families during this transformative time in their lives.
Along with my husband Bryce, we manage this practice together, and he significantly enriches our services by offering guidance to fathers on how best to support their partners throughout the various stages of pregnancy, the birthing process, and the early days of postpartum recovery.
I have accumulated over 20 years of extensive experience as an educator in a variety of community and school settings, focusing particularly on subjects like art, math, and science. This diverse knowledge not only enriches my teaching abilities but also allows me to skillfully blend my skills as a dedicated doula and a passionate business owner, both of which I genuinely cherish and value in my professional journey.
I am a bonus mom to many. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and spending time at the beach. I love a good laugh, good music, good company and good food.
